Homework and Spellings
Homework
Children will bring home a blue book each Friday which will have an English task and a Maths task stuck inside. We ask that children complete both sets of tasks – as well as continuing with daily reading, TT Rockstars and Spelling Shed – and that they return their completed learning on the following Wednesday.
Homework provides an opportunity to consolidate and enhance their learning and therefore we ask that you support us in ensuring that your children complete the tasks in a timely manner and return their books to school so that their learning can be discussed with their class teacher. We hope that the consistency of this approach will make the process of completing weekly homework at home easier.
