Even Swindon Colour Run 2026

We are excited to announce that on Wednesday 3rd June, we will be hosting a sponsored Colour Run at the end of the school day, starting at 3:20pm until 4pm, in support of Swindon Without Abuse (SWA). This vibrant event aligns with our commitment to community welfare, especially as we proudly received our HOPE award at the beginning of this academic year.

We would like to invite you and your children to join us for this fun-filled afternoon, running together through a rainbow of colours on the school field. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bond as a family while raising awareness and funds for this incredible charity that supports many families in Swindon.

We encourage children to seek sponsorship for their participation, with all proceeds going to SWA. You can sign up on ParentPay,  it is £2.00 for school pupils that includes a white t-shirt to wear on the day and £3.00 for adults including a white t-shirt or adults can just enter for £1.00 but will need to provide their own t-shirt.  There are different sizes available, so please sign up on the size you would like.  Please make sure that you complete your application by Monday 18th May so that the t-shirts can be ordered.

For further details, including a link to learn more about Colour Runs and our risk assessment information, please see the attachments.

The PTA will be selling sweets and drinks during this event, so please bring some money or card to purchase refreshments.

Thank you for your support!

Key Information for Families

  • What is it? A non-competitive walk/run event where participants move through stations and get covered in food-grade, biodegradable cornstarch powder.
  • Is it Safe? Yes, it is safe for all ages, though it can be messy, which may overwhelm very young children. Powder is non-toxic.
  • What to Wear: A plain white T-shirt is best for showing off the colours, along with sunglasses (or goggles) to protect eyes. Wear old clothes and trainers as, while washable, some colour might remain.
  • Preparation: Bring towels for your car seats and baby wipes for a quick initial clean-up, as the powder will get everywhere. Children/adults will not be allowed back into school, including to use the toilets, after taking part in the colour run.
  • Supervision: Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
  • What to Expect: A fun atmosphere, colour throwing, food & drink stalls, and music.
