Multiplication Assessment

From Monday 2nd June 2025

The multiplication tables check is designed to help ensure children in primary school know their times tables up to 12 x 12 by heart. As well as being critical for everyday life, knowledge of multiplication tables helps children to solve problems quickly and flexibly, and allows them to tackle more complex mathematics later on in school.

Children will be asked 25 questions ranging from 1 x 2 up to 12 x 12
This will be completed on an ipad or computer

How can you help at home?

Support your child to practice their times tables
Ensure your child plays TTRocks daily to help with their quick recall of times table facts
Practice recalling multiplication and division facts
