Nursery and Reception

About our nursery

At Even Swindon Primary School we have purpose-built facilities and early year practitioners who cater for the needs of early years pupils. This includes all of the early years which is split into different parts, Early Years and Nursery.

We work hard to set high standards for all in terms of both academic and emotional aspects of learning. We want all children to succeed and achieve their potential in a happy and caring environment. We encourage the children to feel part of our “school family” in which everyone is important, special and valued.

Sophia has been at the nursery for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education she gets there. The staff have been wonderful from day one, especially through the lockdown, sending activities through and calling to check up on us each week. She has made some good friends and we have all noticed a difference in her confidence and big advances in her development. Sophia asks every day if she can stay longer as she loves it.

After Olly not being left with anyone other than grandparents, I was very nervous about sending him to be with new people. He settled really quickly, the staff from his class are always ready to welcome him in the morning and always greet him with a smile. Olly never really enjoyed reading before starting pre-school. I give credit to staff in St Erth class he takes books to bed to the breakfast table and there is always one close by to him.
