Due to the ongoing situation, it was a hard decision to postpone our Year 4 PGL trip. We had to put our children’s safety first until another date in the near future can be arranged. The children were understandably disappointed but we picked ourselves up and gave the children a fun-filled three days. We started with all three classes playing a huge game of tag, running around the school grounds- they (and us!) were exhausted after an hour or so. On Thursday we had a big art lesson where the children had a piece of artwork they had to recreate with paint by only using their hands. It was a messy job but all good fun. Then came the main treat which the children were all looking forward to, a McDonald’s for lunch. Friday had more fun and games in Hawksworth hall, including a brilliant game of ‘shoe bomb’. We all pulled together and made the most out of it and of course, we all still have our PGL trip to look forward to in the near future.
