Term 1 Summary:

Penzance PM:

This term we have been learning the routines of the classroom and making new friends. We have been learning about the farm animals, where they live and the sounds they make. The children loved watching the storms out of the window so we have been exploring the wind and the rain with stories and activities in the classroom and movement in PE.

St. Erth:

This term the children have settled in well and are beginning to follow our routines.

Our line of enquiry has been where are all the animals. Through this we have explored animals in the jungle, farm animals, dinosaurs, Elmer and animals we may see in the Autumn. We have listened and identified the different sounds the animals make, enjoyed using the animals to tell our own stories.

In Maths we have sung lots of counting songs including one elephant went out to play. We have counted conkers, acorns and sorted objects through size and colour.

The children finished the term talking about Autumn, the colours, the smells and what we see growing.

Tuesday 12^th November	Nursery rhyme stay and play. 8.35-9.35. 12.10-1.10pm
Mon. 16^th December	Nursery Nativity AM 10.45am-11.30am Nursery Nativity Pm 2.00pm-2.45pm
Wednesday 18^th December	Christmas party
Friday 20^th December	End of term (Finish at 1.30pm)
