Year 6

Term 4 Summary:

Term 4 was another short but very busy one for Year 6!  Over the term, we enjoyed reading Pig Heart Boy by Malorie Blackman, and considering its themes of friendship, loyalty, betrayal and morality.  In English, we used this book as inspiration for debating and writing formal persuasive letters to one of the fictional doctors.

We had two dress up days during the term.  The first one, Red Nose Day and the second, World Book Day when we got to wear pyjamas and build reading dens.

We also celebrated Science week with a visit from some engineers and a day where we swapped classes and carried out different experiments in each.
