Year 6

Term 1 summary:

History

World War II is the subject that Year 6 have been taught this term.  We have been learning about the Blitz and all of the key events that happened.

Science

We are learning to create a Morse code machine for WWII.  We are trying to count the decibels.

Art

Year 6 Art is fabulous this year.  A student in Reading drew a bird that looked incredibly real.

English

They have been doing a Hansel and Gretel story and are now working on a WWII leaflet to encourage people to join the war effort.

Maths

Children are on fire in Maths!

This month we are learning sign language and this week we are learning the sign for ‘where’.
